Our heroes made it back, and were greeted to a champions welcome. The ale and the food poured endlessly from the thankful citizens.
That is until the black dragon, furious that his minions had been eradicated, decided to come crush the heroic group.
The town watch was notified and a plan had been hatched. The heroes prepared for the dragon's imminent arrival with catapults and archers at the ready, and they waited.
The black beast rose from the river and besieged the heroes, but ultimately it proved no match for the group. As it was about to escape, Unrock aided the beast's retreat and vanished.
Confused and angry by their comrades evident betrayal, the group sought to finish off the beast. They once again found their way to the Stone Tooth, to where the black beast slept, and finished the job.
Once again they returned, this time with the black's head as a trophy, and once again they were given a feast in their honor.
Sir Miles Barrick, the mayor of Blasingdell, offered the group an official position in the town, but our group hesitantly turned him down.
After a somewhat lengthy period of consideration, during which an ancient family curse was hopefully lifted, and a sickly griffon was put down, the group decided to take on a job escorting a trade caravan for the city, in order to aid them in rebuilding the damaged town.
